I still remember one tango I danced with you back [when I was first learning Tango]. I kept trying to use my ballroom dancing experience to predict your movements and step accordingly. In purpose you went extra slow, forcing me to wait until you actually moved me. You even told me not to think about fancy steps and to just focus on the connection between us, so that it would be your body that led mine without the need for me to predict your movements. After a lot of trying to overcome my ballroom instincts, I got it (even if just for a few minutes). But, those few minutes made me fall in love with Argentine Tango. I had never felt such a great connection dancing before. For a few seconds it almost felt like the world around me disappeared and all that existed was the dancing and the music. Although in general that's what I like about dancing, there was something different about tango. Thanks to you I discovered how incredible Argentine Tango is. Thank you for that.
